Taz Mechanic Simulator
More games to play
Taz Mechanic Simulator is a 3D car-building game where you put a vehicle together one part at a time and then drive it. You start with a bare frame and add the engine, coils, tires and body panels until the car runs. It is free and plays in the browser, so you can pick it up unblocked at school or work with nothing to install. The build is the puzzle; the test track is where you find out if it worked.
What you do in Taz Mechanic Simulator
This is a car mechanic simulation, not a racing game. You buy parts, fit them onto the chassis, tune the result and take it for a drive. Every component is labeled with its name, so you can tell the coils from the body panels even with no real-world knowledge. If a part is missing or wrong, the car stays put, and getting it running is the goal.
Controls for the garage and the road
Most of the game is spent clicking parts onto the car and lining up the camera. Driving uses standard keys once the build is done.
| Action | Control |
|---|---|
| Rotate camera | Hold right mouse button |
| Select or attach a part | Left click |
| Drive | WASD or arrow keys |
Parts you fit yourself
You are not given a finished car. Each section is bought and attached by you, and the click-to-attach system snaps each piece into the right place.
| Part | Role |
|---|---|
| Frame | The base everything attaches to |
| Engine | Must be fully built for the car to move |
| Tires | Needed before the car can roll |
| Coils | Affect ride and handling |
| Body panels | The outer shell of the car |
Two models and tuning
There are two car models, so finishing one leaves a second body to learn. You can also tune the car and change its color, which gives a reason to rebuild instead of stopping at the first running vehicle. The test track is the real check on any tuning choice.
Tips for a working build
A few things that save time:
- Finish the engine fully before testing, or the car will not drive.
- Fit the frame and tires early for a rolling base.
- Read the part labels; they exist to stop you guessing.
- Treat the test track as a checkpoint and go back to adjust if it handles badly.
